I served as the lead writer in the Public Relations Bureau at the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office from 2018 to 2021. Over the span of three years, I primarily created content for the biweekly email newsletter, Inside the Star.
Inside the Star is sent out to more than 10,000 residents in Pinellas County. The email includes feature stories on the positive work the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office is doing in the community, important safety information, and event announcements.
I was a Content Marketing Manager at One Firefly, a creative marketing agency, from 2014 to 2017. As one of the lead writers, I managed more than 20 clients’ social media platforms, email newsletters, blogs, press releases, and SEO campaigns. Samaritan’s Purse is a large nonprofit organization, located in Boone, North Carolina, that helps people who are victims of war, poverty, natural disasters, and disease. From 2010 to 2013, I traveled to eight foreign countries on assignment to gather moving stories about families who received assistance from disaster relief and community development programs.
